Happy Tuesday to you! Just in case you missed the show this morning…Here’s the low down:
Sean Sears, 23, of Chicopee, Massachusetts, emerged from hand-to-hand combat with more than 300 of the nation’s finest Rock Paper Scissors players to claim the 2008 Bud Light/USA Rock Paper Scissors League Championship and its $50,000 first prize Sunday night in Las Vegas. The third annual tournament, to be aired October 6th as part of a special edition of FSN’s “Best Damn Sports Show Period,” took place at the Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino. Sears will now embark on an intense, two month training regimen leading up to the inaugural International Rock Paper Scissors Federation Championship in Beijing, China, during the Summer Olympics.
This year's American Idol finalists are hopping on tour buses to take their show on the road, starting July 1st in Glendale, Arizona. Boys and girls will be in separate rides. Irish singer Carly Smithson tells us, "We are going to be as far away from the boys' bus as possible and Fabreezing it at all times. You've got three pretty messy guys, actually four because Chikezie might be the worst. Pretty much David Archuleta will be alone trying to keep the place clean." --Bill McCleary
A 70-year-old Florida woman fought back against a would-be-robber and chased him through a parking lot. Joann Starcher was in a West Branenton Save-A-Lot parking lot Sunday night when a young man jumped up between cars and demanded money. Starcher told him to "go to hell in a hand basket" and he ran off but she gave chase until he hid behind a provacy fence.
Hunky Justin Gaston had the most improved performance of the competition last night, but the accolades from the judges came too late -- America had already decided to send him home. Justin was joined in the bottom two by Tommy Stanley, who was told early in the competition he was in danger of going home and would not sing until the end of the show. Though the judges said that Justin out-sang Tommy last night, fan votes based on last week's performance were enough to get Tommy through to the next round. The theme of the night was "Pop Goes Country," and while most contestants were able to put a twangy twist on some very un-country hits, those who shined were Ashlee Hewitt with her version of Britney Spears "(He Drives Me) Crazy," Gabe Garcia's take on Ricky Martin's "Living La Vida Loca" and Melissa Lawson's turn on Cyndi Lauper's "True Colors." Host Billy Ray Cyrus told the remaining contestants that next week the judges would give them the surprise of their lives.
This year's summer plans have become "staycations" for many Americans. A poll by the Weber GrillWatch Pulse gas found that more than 51-percent of respondents plan to take one or more staycations at home this summer, including 24-percent who are changing their traditional summer vacations to include a staycation this year
The "Hulk" may be muscling its way through movie theaters across the country this summer but he's actually missing in action in Massachusetts. "The Incredible Hulk" has been on the big screen for more than a week but somebody stole an eight-foot-tall statue of the green man wearing ripped purple pants from in front of a theater in the town of Lowell. Authorities believe a truck was needed to carry out the "Hulk" theft and they're looking through theater surveillance video to see if they can uncover any clues.

“Strictly No Photography” is a mischievous photo-sharing Web site for photographs that have been taken exactly “where you are not allowed to take them.” Browse through the collection of forbidden photos and you’ll find scores of images captured in places that you “are not supposed to see.” Divided into sections like “Art Galleries,” “Government,” “Museums,” “Royalty,” “Political” and “Weird and Wonderful,” the site has images that were taken out of harmless fun as well as more serious footage from heavily censored areas such as hospitals and war zones.

A judge said a Times Square entertainer who wears just enough to justify the name the "Naked Cowboy" can continue a lawsuit he brought against a blue M-and-M. Federal Judge Denny Chin on Monday stripped Robert Burck of some of his claims that a blue M-and-M wearing a white cowboy hat, cowboy boots and underpants violates his trademarks. But the judge left intact one strand of that lawsuit. Chin said Burck might be able to prove that Mars Inc., which makes M-and-Ms, unfairly gave the impression that he had endorsed its advertising campaign. For its part, Mars says the ad campaign was a parody and is protected by the First Amendment.
