Racquel Welch is set to reveal all about her life in a new memoir. The 67-year-old star has signed a deal to talk about her career, secret romances and failed marriages. Sources claim it will lift the lid on her relationships with Warren Beatty, Sean Connery, Richard Burton and Alice Cooper. The book, tentatively titled “Secrets of Timeless Appeal,” is scheduled for release next year.

Genie Francis is checking back into “General Hospital” for a short visit. The 46-year-old actress will reprise her role as Laura on the ABC daytime soap beginning August 26th. The character’s 1981 fairytale wedding to Luke, played by Anthony Geary, was watched by 30 million viewers. Francis began playing Laura in 1976.
Angelina Jolie has given birth to twins in a hospital in Nice, France, with boyfriend Brad Pitt by her side. Jolie gave birth to son Knox Leon and daughter Vivienne Marcheline on Saturday. The two children, who are the fifth and sixth children for the celebrity couple, were delivered via Caesarean section.
For the second year in a row, Miss USA fell during the evening gown competition at the Miss
Universe pageant. It was a nightmare come true for Miss USA Crystle Stewart, who tripped on the train of her evening gown as she made her entrance. During the 2007 Miss Universe contest in Mexico City, Miss USA Rachel Smith also fell during the evening gown competition. Miss Venezuela Dayana Mendoza won the competition.
Tiger Woods is on track to become the world’s first athlete billionaire, according to Forbes magazine. Woods, who won the U.S. Open while playing with a wounded knee last month, could reach $1 billion in career earnings by 2010. Tiger will be off the green for the rest of this year’s golf season to undergo surgery on a ligament in his left knee.
Randy Travis will celebrate the release of his new album, “Around the Bend,” with numerous TV appearances in New York City. Travis will sing on David Letterman’s show tomorrow, the same day the album is released. Other appearances include Good Morning America on Wednesday and Regis & Kelly on Thursday. He will perform on “Today” this Friday.
Martina McBride kicked off her “Waking Up Laughing Tour” on Friday. The tour will hit 30 markets by mid-October. This is Martina’s first-ever tour headlining amphitheatres.
Craig Morgan says his single “Love Remembers” very well could be his career-defining song. Craig says the song is a great bridge between his earlier music and his upcoming album, which will be in stores later this year.
Officials of the American Savings Bank in Munster, Indiana, say a woman deposited two crisp $1,000 bills. Bank president Michael Mellon says they called the customer to have her take the bills back – not because they were fake, but because they are worth a lot more than the face value. A rare coin dealer says the bills could be worth up to $4,500 each. The bills were issued in 1934 and have been out of circulation for decades. The woman said she got the bills from a relative a few years ago.

Doctors in a coastal town in northwestern Peru have rescued the innards of a 38-year-old man by removing 17 metal objects -- among them nails, a watch clasp and a knife -- that he ate. Luis Zarate was taken to the regional hospital of Trujillo by his family after complaining of sharp stomach pains. Doctors took X-rays of his chest that showed his insides littered with screws. Doctor Julio Acevedo, one of the surgeons who operated on Zarate, said, "There were 17 strange objects found at the level of his stomach and colon." The black-and-white scans showed Zarate's skeleton interlaced with things like bolts, barbed-wire and pens. Doctors said Zarate was mentally ill but it was not why he ate the metal.
James Otto is encouraging fans to share their hilarious and horrific stories of drunk dialing with the "Drink and Dial" contest. Guilty parties can call their stories into 1-866-877-4-C-M-T. The Top 6 will become animated features that will air on C-M-T-dot-com and C-M-T's Top 20 Countdown, and the winners will receive a Sunset Man prize package including a phone call from James. The grand prize winner will also get an I-Phone. Current and potential drunk dialers have until August 3rd to submit their stories.
Johnny Cash's music provides the foundation for the upcoming C-D Johnny Cash: Remixed, according to EOnline-dot-com. The project, produced by the Man in Black's son John Carter Cash, features artists from a variety of genres putting their spin on such classic Cash tunes as "I Walk the Line" -- which is being recorded by Snoop Dogg, Teddy Riley and D-J Quik. John Carter says, "While it stays true to the original records, this C-D touches on undiscovered ground. This is what my father was about -- staying true to tradition while creating groundbreaking new music." The album will be released on vinyl in September with C-D with digital releases in October.
Gretchen Wilson has made a new single from an old song with "Don't Do Me No Good." She tells us, "This is a song that I wrote not too long after I wrote 'Redneck Woman.' It's just been sitting here, and I just really never considered it for any of my albums before. This time around, we were looking for songs, [and] we thought, 'Let's give it a shot and see if we can turn it into something and little tougher,' and I think we did." The song is the lead single from Gretchen's next C-D, which will be released later this year.
Before making her trip down the aisle, Sara Evans made a trip to the emergency room. According to Extra, the day before her wedding to Jay Barker, Sara went to the E-R complaining of stomach pains. But it must have just been butterflies. She says, "I went home and took four Advil and had a beer and just like got in bed and, you know, fell asleep. I woke up the next morning, the day of the wedding, and felt a lot better." Who wouldn't?
Taylor Swift's appeal is reaching far beyond country music these days. People-dot-com reports that while finding her seat at a Jonas Brothers concert in Dallas recently, Taylor was met by shrieks from the audience of mostly young girls, who stood on chairs to get a glimpse of her and take her picture. And like most of the other teenagers at in attendance, Taylor stood up for the entire show.
Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman took great pains to insure their privacy while they attended to the birth of Sunday Rose. The Tennessean reports that among the security measures, several suites surrounding her room at Nashville's Baptist Hospital were kept empty. There was one flaw in the plan -- Keith and Nicole's bodyguard parked Keith's very conspicuous Bentley in a no-parking zone. Their cover was blown when an announcement came over the hospital loudspeaker asking that the illegally parked Bentley be moved.
Fourteen years after having their car stolen, a Bosnian couple finally has it back. According to Ananova.com, the Jokics lost their VW Golf while on vacation back in 1994. But cops recently found it during a routine traffic stop. Mrs. Jokic said she was told the car was stolen several times since it was taken from them. Mr. Jokic noted the car still drives as good as it did 14 years ago. The couple has been allowed to keep the car despite the fact that their insurance company paid out on it. The Jokics say the insurance company doesn't believe the car has any value to it.
A Louisiana woman is facing battery charges for making men sniff some cologne. According to the "Daily Comet," 22-year-old Patches Wegmann was arrested Thursday in Houma. Police claim the woman was involved in two recent incidents where men had negative reactions to the scents she was selling. In June, an 18-year-old man reportedly passed out after Wegmann sprayed some cologne under his nose. Last week's victim told police he felt light-headed and his skin was irritated. Wegmann told police that she sells the fragrances in the New Orleans area on a regular basis and she doesn't believe they're harmful. Police are testing the colognes as part of their investigation.
It's a good thing Jessical Lafreniere of New Hampshire has a nose ring since it gave a bolt of lightning a way to exit her body. The 21 year-old was in here garage recently when the bolt struck right in front of her with the current going through her body. It sent her tumbling into her mother, who as standing in back of her. She was lucky that the nose ring was in as the electricity found a way out through it instead of going from her feet to her head. She said she was left with a tingly feeling afterwards.
Florida's so-called "French Fry Grandma" is innocent. Jean Merola got into a confrontation with a Clearwater police officer while waiting for her order at McDonald's. The 76 year old was at the drive-thru window where she was waiting for fries and got into an argument when she was asked to move her care. She was accused of being rude and verbally abusive during the ordeal. She was arrested but denies the charges. The case eventually made it to court on a misdemeanor obstruction of a plubic place. A one day trail was heald with several witnesses taking the stand before all charges where dropped. Jean said she let the case go befeor a judge as a matter of principle.
