Researchers have genetically engineered “marathon mice” that can run for hours thanks to two pills that reproduce the biological benefits of exercise, helping cells burn fat better and boosting endurance. One of the pills may some day help people enhance their exercise or training, while the other might be more suited for couch potatoes who need to kick-start themselves. Just in case athletes get the bright idea of taking the pills before a competition, researchers have also created a test that can detect whether the pills are in the system. *my question what inspires a mouse to run for hours

Taylor Swift's band is like family to her. They've been together since the early days when she was playing free shows and tiny clubs. So it's especially gratifying now for them to look out over an audience of 25-thousand fans to see how far they've come. She says, "It's a moment of, 'Wow, we've done this together.' That feeling is irreplaceable. I would do anything for any of them."

Brooks and Dunn welcome Z-Z Top to their Cowboy Town Tour for 18 dates starting tonight in Albuquerque, New Mexico and running through September 13th. The guys said that they learned from their time opening for the Rolling Stones that rock fans are not much different than country fans. In fact, most country artists including themselves were influenced by rock musicians. Kix says, "I think that time has come and our fans are just like we are. It's hard to say you don't dig Z-Z Top. You just don't find those people very often." This isn't the first time Kix and Ronnie have worked with Z-Z Top -- they performed together on C-M-T's Crossroads show back in 2002.

Now that Keith Anderson has four years of playing fairs and festivals under his belt -- not to mention a few hits for fans to sing along to -- he's having a great time on the road. Keith tells Oshkosh, Wisconsin's Northwestern, "It's really getting fun now. We're developing a pretty good group of hits -- not just mine. There's a section of the show where we play hits from other artists now, so it's turned into a fun, fun show." And even though he's a super-buff cowboy, he indulges in some of that festival goodness-on-a-stick from time to time. He tells us, "I'll pick like one a month that I know is going to be good, that is going to have like the fried Twinkies and the fried Oreos, fried water, and I'll let myself really indulge. You've got to have it, but you can't do it every day."
If someone you know is having a bad day and a corndog won't help, Keith encourages you to visit
